References

In Tuleap, references allow you to create links between different project elements (artifacts, commits, tasks, documents, etc.). They are essential for ensuring traceability between requirements, development, testing, and deliveries.

  • Project references: these are references specific to a single project. They allow you to link elements within the same project.

  • System references: these are global references across the entire Tuleap platform and are not limited to a single project.

  • External references: these are references to resources outside of Tuleap, pointing to external tools or systems.

Categories

It is the Tuleap platform administrator who creates project categories, and then project administrators can select them through this tab. This makes it easier to search for information across all projects in a specific category using the cross-search feature.

Banner

Administrators can enable a banner for the project to convey information to its members. It is possible to add a link in the banner message that redirects to another site.

The banner will appear at the top of the project, and a “Project Announcement” title will also appear at the top of the Tuleap project menu to remind members who have closed the banner that a message is still pinned.

Background

It is possible to customize the project by adding a background if desired. Tuleap provides an image library from which you can simply select the image you want to use.
