Widget - Heartbeat

Prev Next

The Heartbeat widget displays a chronological stream of the latest events occurring within the project. It aggregates actions performed in the different modules (Tracker, Git, Test Management) to offer an immediate overview of project activity.

Installation note

This widget can only be used on the Project dashboard.

Content

The widget presents information as a chronological list, automatically segmented by periods:

  • Today : events of the current day (displayed in relative time, e.g., "2 hours ago")

  • Yesterday : events from the previous day (displayed with date and time)

  • Recently : older events (displayed with date only).

Up to 30 events per module are displayed. Each event consists of the following elements:

  • Context icon : a visual icon identifies the source of the activity:

    • Git : commits pushed to the project Git repositories.

    • Tracker : artifacts created or modified in the trackers.

    • Test Management : updated test campaigns (test executions).

  • Action description : a text message summarizing the event. This text contains clickable links allowing direct access to the relevant item.

  • Metadata :

    • Date : the date and time of the action.

    • Author : the name of the user who performed the action (clickable link to their profile).

Information

If recent activities exist in the project but the user does not have the necessary permissions to access them, an information message indicates that there are non-visible activities.
