System Event

The " System Events" tab allows you to view the technical operations and background tasks performed on the Tuleap server. It provides a high-level view of internal processes (such as system checks). It also allows you to set up alerts via notifications.

Events

The table displays all the events recorded by the system.

For each event, the following information is presented:

   • Type : The type of technical operation (e.g. SYSTEM_CHECK).

   • Status : The status of the execution (e.g. DONE for successfully completed, displayed in green).

   • Settings : For some events, this column shows what has been changed, for example if I change the visibility of a project from public to private, an event PROJECT_IS_PRIVATE will be created, and the setting will project: #id, project is private: truedisplay . For events of type SYSTEM_CHECK , this value remains blank.

   • Created at : Date and time the event was created

   • Started at : The date and time of the start of the event

   • Finished at : The date and time the event ended

   • Details : By clicking on the Details button, it is possible to view the details of the event such as its ID, the owner (often root for automatic tasks)

In addition, if the goal is to search and visualize specific events, it is possible to filter by :

   • Status : All, New, Running, Done, Warning, Error

   • Tail : Main, Git

   • Types: Type of event

Notifications

It is possible to set up notifications for system events, in order to be alerted if a specific status is recorded in the system (e.g . Warning or Error).

It is possible to set up multiple alerts for different statuses and recipients.

Sending bulk emails

This tab allows system administrators to send bulk emails to defined recipients or to all users regardless of their preferences.

It is also possible to send a preview of the email to a specific user before sending it in bulk.
