Email Gateway

You can configure the email gateway for trackers.

This gateway allows users to interact with trackers via email. Depending on the configuration chosen, they can, for example, reply to an artifact by email to add a comment, or create artifacts by email.

You can disable the gateway completely, use an authentication token-secured gateway, or enable an insecure gateway. The latter option should be used with caution, as it does not verify the real identity of the sender of the email.

Artifact Links

You can configure how links between artifacts work.

You can activate the new interface for managing links between artifacts for all trackers on the platform. This interface is enabled by default for new trackers, but can then be disabled at the individual Tracker level.

You can also manage the types of links available. A nature is used to specify the type of relationship between two artifacts, such as a parent/child link or a hedging relationship.

When creating a nature, you must fill in a short name, a label and a reverse label. The label describes the relationship in one direction, while the inverse label allows it to be displayed in the other direction.

Report

You can set a limit for expert queries used in tracker reports.

This limit helps prevent overly complex queries from being executed, which could take too long to process. The higher the limit, the more complex the allowed queries can be.

Artifacts deletion

You can set the maximum number of artifacts that a tracker's administrator can delete or move over a 24-hour period.

As the deletion of an artifact is difficult to reverse, this limit makes it possible to regulate the use of this action and to reduce the risk of mass or accidental deletions.

If the deleted items archiving plugin is not enabled, the deleted artifacts are exported to a temporary folder and then purged automatically according to the server configuration.

Tracker restoration

You can view trackers that have been deleted by a user and are still pending permanent deletion.

The list shows the trackers involved, the project they belong to, and their expected destruction date. As long as a tracker appears in this list, it can be restored before it is permanently deleted.
