The Tracker chart widget allows displaying a specific chart from a tracker report directly on the dashboard.
Installation note
This widget can be used on the Personal dashboard and the Project dashboard.
Installation
Although it is possible to add this widget manually, the recommended method is to add it from the report:
Go to the tracker report containing the chart you wish to display.
In the chart header, click on the configuration icon
.Select the option Add to my dashboard or Add to project dashboard.
Content
The widget display presents the following elements:
Quick actions: a button is displayed at the top of the widget to allow the quick creation of a new artifact in the concerned tracker.
Visualization: the chart (pie, bars, etc.) is displayed with its interactive legend.
Link to report: a [View report] link present at the bottom of the widget allows you to directly open the report page containing this chart.
Configuration
In the widget edition window, two fields allow you to adjust the content:
Title: this field (by default the chart name) allows you to customize the widget header text.
Chart Id: this numeric identifier targets the specific chart to display.
FAQ
When adding the widget, it asks for the “Chart Id” parameter: where can I find it?
Currently, this parameter is not accessible from the Tuleap user interfaces: to add this widget to your dashboard, we invite you to add it directly from the report associated with your chart. This procedure is detailed in the Installation section of this documentation page.
